Microfibre is Plastic.

Yes it sounds a little blunt when it's stated like this, but it's true! With allergies affecting many people, natural fillings (like feather) have been superseded with man-made filling such as microfibre - also known as Polyethylene Terephthalate (plastic).

Sadly, the easiest way to make microfibre filling is to manufacture it from scratch. This means that every day, manufacturers are choosing to create luxury bedding items like pillows & quilts from chemicals, such as petroleum.

What is DreamGreen?

To avoid adding to the problem and help combat this issue, we created DreamGreen™.

Instead of using newly created plastic in the microfibre fill of our bedding, we have instead opted to recycle plastic that is already in use.

This decreases our dependence on virgin petroleum-based materials, and reduces greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing while helping solve a world-wide issue by utlilising material that is already readily available.

It's a win-win!

How does it work?

First we source plastic bottles that are made from the highest grade, premium plastic.

These bottles are then thoroughly sterilised before being reduced from their raw state into small, pure white flakes. These small flakes are spun into a yarn, which is then transformed into a premium hypoallergenic microfibre.

The final result is a snow-white, high-loft and luxurious softness that guests globally rave over.

It's an absolute win-win!
